BLOG ENTRY 2 – PROBLEMS & RESOLUTIONS
Write a multi-paragraph blog post that addresses all of the following:
-Why don’t students know their expected learning results? The reason why students do not know their expected learning results because some schools do not post their ESLR's in the hallways or in the classrooms.Every LAUSD school should have the ESLR's posted in the school somewhere. If the school doesn't have a copy of the ESLR's in the school you can look on your school website.Your teachers should tell you what the ESLR's because that what their are suppose to.If not then you should ask your teacher what is the expected learning results. Another reason why the students don't know the ESLR's is because they do not be paying attention in class or they don't look around the school. Students just come to school just because their parents force them to come to school not because they want to come to school to learn. Students should always look on the walls in the classroom wall or the school website so they can get what they are suppose to do in class and out of class.
-What solutions should our school use to motivate students to know the ESLRs? How many students in our school could you estimate to know the ESLRs after following each solution?
Solutions our school should use to motivate our students to know the ESLR's is to show the ESLR's in every meeting or assembly we have so the students follow it and when not following the expectations their would be consequences.By doing that kids would follow them and the school would be running smoother. Also you can have the teachers teach the students the ESLR's and have them remember them for homework. Then students would be ready for the real world when the become an adult. I think the estimate of students knowing the ESLR's at our school is 75 to 80 percent because we post the ESLR's everywhere in the school. Also every time we have a assembly they post the ESLR's on the board or the screen. -Why is it important for a school (or any organization) to write down the goals that they expect to achieve, before doing work toward that goal? It is important for a school or organization to write down their goals before trying to achieve them and what they are expected because when they write it down on the calendar or a book they can write down what they did so the can not forget them or they know what they need to do for the day and work toward achieving that goal. Also writing it down before working toward it because it will make you do it and not try to do something else instead of what their goal is.
